with the Franciscans of the Immaculate
The Franciscans of the Immaculate (FI) are one of the most persecuted groups within the Catholic Church today. This order has been under constant attack from the Vatican since 2013 for no reason I can discern—except, perhaps, that they prefer traditional liturgy and devotions. My contact with them stems primarily from a desire to help offset the nonsensical ire brought against them, and secondarily because I have the skills necessary to assist their liturgical life.
During the Triduum, three quasi-FI brothers helped serve.
